AboutThis is a featured page

In the spirit of BarCamp and the original StartupWeekend, we are planning on hosting an intense weekend of programming, designing, brainstorming, idea stretching, marketing, and entrepreneurship to get an internet startup (and its first prototype) up and running in a weekend!

We are using this wiki to organize the weekend, set up goals and a game plan for the company, and talk about ideas for the company's first product. We will all collaborate and prior to the event, choose a product/service which we think we can build ( a working prototype ) in a weekend.

Anybody who completes the weekend and contributes to our working prototype will receive founders' shares in the company. Lets get going!

Goals

  1. Discuss if anything should be donedifferently than at the original StartupWeekend
  2. Collaborate together on an idea for an internet startup
  3. Decide on which idea to pursue as well the development platform
  4. Come together in the magnificent city of Chicago to work on the business and its first product/service
  5. Release a working prototype of the product, no matter what the cost (no sleep, decreased scope, etc), by Sunday night at Midnight
  6. Continue to run the compay

What you can do right now

  1. Register
  2. Spread the word
  3. Post ideas for the startup or comment on other peoples ideas
  4. Help make StartupWeekend Chicago a great event!
